HVG E-Liquids

(8 products)
EDGE HVG e-liquids are the perfect vape juice to choose if you're looking for big flavour and even bigger vape clouds!

Made with an 70% VG to 20% PG ratio, the higher VG ratio aids in boosting the flavour of the concentrates used as well as increasing the density of the vape clouds produced on exhale.

These vape juices are designed to be used with coils that have an ohms resistance of at least 0.5ohm or lower as these coils can be ran at higher wattage outputs to ensure the coils heat up the e-liquid properly to turn into vapour.

Why Choose EDGE High-VG E-Liquids?

A Sub-Ohm Vaping Must-Have

If you enjoy vaping big clouds using high-powered sub-ohm vape kits, then our High-VG e-liquids are a must-have for your collection. Their thick 70%VG recipe means they pair perfectly with vape kits running coils rated below 0.8ohm.

Bigger Vape Clouds And Bolder Flavour

High VG vape liquids like our MAX and Elite HVG ranges deliver the biggest vape clouds of any of our ranges, and boast bold flavour as a result. They deliver more flavour than 50-50 e-liquids with each puff thanks to those larger clouds, which gives the impression of being more flavourful – they are also designed to be used at the much higher temperatures typical of the sub-ohm vape kits they pair best with. Vape flavours can be more defined and impactful when vaped at these higher power settings which also adds to the sub-ohm experience.

Ideal for Vaping Hobbyists

By producing larger vapour clouds but remaining smooth thanks to being available in only a 3mg nicotine strength, our High-VG vape liquids are a perfect partner for vaping hobbyists who enjoy using custom-built or high-powered advanced mod vape kits. If you are the kind of person who vapes for more than just nicotine delivery or flavour, for example those who enjoy practising vape tricks, then Elite HVG or EDGE MAX are great options for you.

EDGE MAX & Elite HVG E-Liquid FAQs

What Are The Benefits Of Using EDGE Elite HVG & EDGE Max Freebase E-Liquids?

High VG vape juice appeals to vapers wanting to experience sub ohm vaping, which is where your device is run at a high wattage and you perform a direct-to-lung style vape, where you inhale straight to the lungs and then exhale in one smooth motion.

This then will produce a large plume of vapour which is something that some vapers are very keen on, often referred to as "Cloud Chasers".

More Flavour
High VG e-liquids are renowned for being more flavoursome than standard 50/50 e-liquids, because of the fact that a higher VG content is used which produces more vapour per puff, effectively delivering more flavour with every inhale..

More Vape Cloud Production
Like we touched on above, high VG e-liquids will produce thicker and larger clouds of vapour when inhaled and exhaled. This is because of the higher VG ratio which aids in producing more vapour.

What Is 80-20 HVG E-Liquid/Vape Juice?

80/20 refers to the ratio of the VG and PG in e-liquid, which acts as the base mixture before nicotine and flavourings are added in.

It's 80% VG to 20% PG which is why it's often referred to as High VG or HVG for short. Having a higher VG content means that it will produce thicker clouds of vapour as well as heightened flavour as the extra VG vapour carries much more flavour with each puff, so if there's a higher ratio of it, it's going to be very flavoursome!

With a lower PG content, there'll be next to no throat hit when you inhale, making it smoother on the throat which is why this type of e-liquid is commonly associated with sub-ohm vaping, where you run your device at higher wattage alongside a sub ohm coil for a direct to lung vaping experience.

What Ingredients Go Into EDGE HVG & Max E-Liquid?

EDGE Elite e-liquids are made with four core ingredients, which are;

Vegetable Glycerol (VG): VG works alongside PG as the base mix for any vape juice formula. It's the thicker liquid of the two and produces clouds of vapour. With HVG e-liquids, a higher ratio of VG is used normally around 70% or 80%.

Propylene Glycol (PG): PG acts as the carrier of flavour as well as helping stabilize the ingredients in the mixture. PG is commonly used in a lot of food products as well as medicines. High VG e-liquids will often have a much lower PG content of around 20% or 30% ratio.

Freebase Nicotine: Nicotine is freely suspended in a PG base, diluted to 7.2% allowing us to accurately create different nicotine strengths. High VG e-liquids are often only available i the lowest options like 3mg.

Flavour Concentrates: These are what gives your vape juice the distinct flavour which you know and love. Our flavour experts create premium quality flavourings that go into all of our e-liquids including our Elite HVG and MAX ranges.

What Is Freebase Nicotine in E-Liquids?

Freebase nicotine is the most commonly used form of nicotine for vaping. It consists of nicotine particles freely suspended in PG, making it easy to blend into stable e-liquid formulations. Our nicotine is diluted to 7.2% in PG, enabling precise calculation of different nicotine strength doses. Naturally alkaline, nicotine produces a noticeable throat hit when inhaled as vapour or cigarette smoke. Unlike nicotine salts, which provide a smoother experience, freebase nicotine retains this throat hit. If you prefer a slight kick when vaping, freebase nicotine is the ideal choice.

What Different Types Of Vape Juice Flavours Are In The EDGE HVG and MAX E-Liquid range?

Whilst our selection of flavours in the HVG range may be smaller compared to our other ranges, they're still incredibly popular as we've picked some of the best selling e-liquid flavours and given them the classic EDGE treatment to make them some of the most flavoursome e-liquids we have on offer!

EDGE Elite HVG
We have two different tobacco flavours which are the best sellers in our 50/50 EDGE Elite range, as well as a standard Menthol flavour if you're not wanting a fruit or tobacco flavour. And finally, we have Heizen which is an iconic vape juice flavour that many know and love, whilst it's not to everyone's taste, we'd recommend giving this a try for a full on flavour experience!

EDGE MAX
Whilst our EDGE Max range only has 3 flavours, they're some of the best selling vape juice flavours. Featuring the iconic Heizen as well as Mango which is packed with rich and juicy Mango flavours and finally rounding off the collection is Blue Raspberry, a sweet and fruity raspberry flavour with a candied twist.

What's The Difference Between HVG And 50/50 Freebase E-Liquids?

The main difference between the two e-liquids is the ratio of the VG and PG which they are mixed at.

High VG refers to the amount of VG used in the recipe being higher than the PG content, and the common ratio is either 70/30 or 80/20, the latter is what we use to make our Elite HVG and Max e-liquids.

What Vape Kits Work Best With EDGE HVG E-Liquids?

As the Elite HVG and Max range are made at a higher VG/PG ratio, we'd recommend pairing these e-liquids with a vape kit that uses coils of around 0.6ohms or lower. A lot of pod vape kits today will offer replacement pods or coils that are this ohm resistance or lower.

If your device has variable wattage, we'd recommend running the device at a higher output to cater to the coils resistance so it heats up properly to ensure your e-liquid is turned to vapour for you to inhale and exhale.

However, a lot of pod vape kits will have smart wattage settings meaning it will automatically set the wattage output based on the ohms resistance of the coil used.

What Wattage Should I Use To Vape EDGE HVG E-Liquids?

We'd recommend a wattage setting of at least 20 watts and higher. Always aim to keep your wattage output within the range recommended for your coils ohm resistance.

High wattage is required because of HVG e-liquids being thicker, meaning your coil will need to heat to higher temperatures to turn the e-liquid into vapour.

All EDGE vape juices, including our EDGE Elite HVG as well as our EDGE MAX range, meet the highest safety and quality standards. Where Are EDGE MAX E-Liquids Made?

Where Can I Buy EDGE Max & HVG E-Liquids?

How To Store EDGE Elite E-Liquids?

Properly storing your e-liquids will help maintain their quality, ensuring you can continue vaping them without issue. We recommend keeping your EDGE Elite e-liquids in a cool, dark place, such as a drawer or cupboard. Ideally, they should be kept away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Exposure to these conditions can cause your e-liquids to degrade, leading to the separation of ingredients or oxidation of the nicotine. This can result in your e-liquid turning a darker brown and becoming noticeably harsher on the throat when vaped.

Where Can I Find EDGE E-Liquid Safety & Allergen Information?

Every bottle of EDGE Elite or EDGE MAX features a "peel and reveal" label. If you look towards the top corner of the label, you’ll notice an arrow indicating where to peel. Simply slide your nail underneath this corner, and you’ll be able to lift the label to uncover all essential safety and allergen information.

Are EDGE Max & HVG E-Liquids Vegan/Vegetarian Friendly?

Yes, they are! All of our raw materials, including VG, PG, and nicotine, are plant-based, as are the flavour concentrates used in our e-liquids. Additionally, no animal products are used at any stage of the production process.
